I can only speak for 2028's. 1/2 hour of warm ups 2 1/2 hours of sixes on 3 fields. It was very hot so the evaluators all went and sat together under a tent on the sidelines in front of the middle field so hopefully your kid got a lot of time on the middle field (that didn't have any goalies as only 4 goalies were there). I am guessing the 2028's had about 85 total. |
| I know they say 72 hours until you hear back but is it typically sooner? |
| Anyone hear anything? |
| Anyone? |
Nothing sent yet, I am guessing 1pm or 4pm today |
| No one we know heard anything |
|
My daughter got an offer for Yellow. She is the only one I have heard of with any MD spot. Would that be considered comparable or better than DC-VA?
|
Totally depends on where the evaluators put players. Some years their picks make no sense, with mediocre players picked for the red team and true A level players on the yellow team. It’s just depends on where their head is when the choose their teams. |
Spot on either is good. |
So no shame? |
| No shame for what? |
| The yellow team is the MD AS B team, but like a PP said, sometimes the way the teams are selected doesn’t make sense, and it’s hard to know how the MD teams will stack up against the DC/VA team. If your DD is still motivated to play on AS, she can still enjoy the experience and meet other girls in her age group regardless of which team she is on. |

It’s an honor to be on either team.
From what I’m hearing of the picks, very good players were selected for both teams |
| MD yellow could beat DC-VA. |
No shame, but realistically, the yellow team is probably comparable to DC-VA. TBH, the Red team may be as well considering a lot of good MD, DC, VA girls choose All America |
