They’re definitely NOT saying that an actual beard or mustache is normal. Feel free to ask any doctor. |
IT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL!!!!! Repeating your nonsense will not make it magically become true. See my comment about about internelized mysogeny and racism. |
I’m not even taking the bait on that. I’ve spoken with an OBGYN regarding this and know better. |
You know nothing. You're just spreading dumb nonsense. Most women have facial hair and I'll be damned if I allow your BS to shame them or make them think like there is something wrong with them. Just because you're white and blond and have peach fuzz, does not mean that a woman with a different skin tone has anything wrong with her if he has a mustache or prounouced side burns. |
NP here but ... do you know that doctors can be mysogenist and racist too? PP is right, it's absolutely normal. Sure, PCOS or whatever might cause more hair on some people, but hair happens ALL THE TIME without those things and it's absolutely normal. |
You apparently don’t read what someone says in it’s entirety and just focus on what you want to focus on (which is apparently race and hair color). I also said that I have abnormal hair growth on my upper lip just like the OP. I’m not shaming anyone. I’ve spoken with an OBGYN about this and was told that it’s unequivocally not normal. It’s ridiculous to jump to accusations of racism and misogyny when someone disagrees with you. Maybe you’re trolling. I really have no idea, but it’s illogical. |
Just because you allowed yourself to be convinced that there is something wrong with you by some quack, it doesn't mean I have to participate in your lunacy and ignorance. I'll say it again and again: facial hair on women (and men) is perfectly normal. |
I’ll only say it one last time. A woman growing a beard and/or mustache (NOT to be confused with a tiny bit of hair in those areas) is not normal. There’s a medical term for this condition. That term is hirsutism. |
EVERY WOMAN HAS FACIAL HAIR. IT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL. It is absolutely not true that every woman with extra facial hair has hirsutism (mostly due to PCOS). Again, I will not allow you to unashamedly spread ignorant nonsense. |

I am unlucky with both. I have fine, thin balding hair on my head and corse hairs on my chin and neck. Eh, it's part of getting older. I had electrolysis and laser when I was younger for my lip and face. It is genetic and I have always been a hairy Italian. I shave and pluck constantly. Get a razer, tweezers and a great magnifiying mirroir. |
| This is very normal, sweetheart. It's not abnormal. Just keep removing it. |
|
I had upper lip (and some chin) electrolysis bi-weekly for several years in my 40s. 10 years later, it's like I never did a thing. It ended up being a waste of money since it wasn't a permanent fix. The technician said only shave between appointments, never tweeze.
The hairs now are darker and coarse, so I just shave every few days. |

This might sound weird, but check your vitamin D levels. You want to supplement to get into the higher end of the normal range. Vitamin D impacts ovarian function and your hormone balances.

| Too much testosterone, not enough estrogen. |
