Are you sick right now? Cold, flu, RSV or covid?

When I look at the flu maps it's all low same with the covid charts. Covid tests are negative. If this is "just" a cold it's freaking violent AF.

I have something like this plus lots of body aches. On day 6. It’s been really strange with the ups and downs. The first few days were no big deal. But then it hit me like a train and all I could do was sleep the last two days. Definitely not just a cold. Finally starting to feel better.

What are the rest of your symptoms?

We can send people to the moon at speeds of what 5000 mph but we can't cure the common cold.

I have been sick for ten days. Tested negative for Flu and Covid. Have gone through all the symptoms : lost my voice, sinus infection, crazy congestion, wheezing, etc. It is "just a cold" but a nasty one!

My kid was sick kind of like this last week. Started with mild sore throat,.irritability then a few days later woke up with a fever and extreme fatigue. Got tested for covid, flu, strep and RSV, all negative. So probably some random virus. DC usually doesn't get this sick.

incredibly sick right now. Lost my voice, have congestion and fever and wheezing that's very concerning at this point. Nose dripping like a running faucet. Chest pains from coughing up my lungs. I don't know what's happening in the mirco world right now but this crap seems lethal, zero exaggeration, this doesn't at all feel like just a cold.

Same. This sucks. Are you concerned about the wheezing? How worried should I be?

I’m congested. Low fever. Achy all over. No appetite.

I’m taking advil and afrin. Usually zicam helps when I feel something coming on, but it didn’t prevent this from leaving me firmly planted in bed. So maybe flu? Idk.

Our household has been falling like dominoes to some sort of illness causing a horrible cough. There is some slight congestion, but it’s mostly just been an awful week + long cough. I am the last one standing and waiting to see if I come down with it too. Anecdotally I went to a movie with friends this week and heard someone in the theater with a hacking cough for 2 hours straight. So seems like some horrible cough virus is going around.

Colds can be nasty. The common cold is common but definitely not fun. That plus allergy season is making a lot of unhappy campers. We can feel completely miserable but still be relatively safe, health wise.

I’m still coughing and mucusy from what I believed was a cold. I had a cough, sore throat and lost my voice. I now think it was something else but don’t know what.

Started like a lot of posters, with a sore throat and congestion. Turned into low grade fever with body aches and awful headaches. Congested cough that is still lingering and my asthma is fully activated. I finally got up and around a bit today (day 7) but am still exhausted and get dizzy really quickly, which is unusual for me. I've canceled all plans for tomorrow and plan to just continue resting the next two days before I have to return to the real world.

One son came down with this a week and a half ago and he's still coughing and tired.

A lot of it reminds me of the flu or covid, but without the high fever.

I think the have the same bug. Down to the getting dizzy (not normal for me at all). I can't sleep at all. I'm laying there for 3-4 hours wide awake wheezing away. Are you wheezing too? I had asthma as a kid and thought it went away but now I don't know. This is by far worst cough I've had in my life and it doesn't seem to be close to being over yet. I'm so miserable.

I posted that I was recording on Friday but it’s Sunday and still lingering. Now it’s rattling around in my chest and my nights are miserable. Day six and I can’t really afford to miss work. Not sure when I will do.
