Prepping for storm tomorrow…

- bring possible projectiles inside
- charge everything
- doing laundry today instead of tomorrow
- did my "everything shower" today instead of tomorrow.

That's about it. Whatever else happens, will happen.

If we lose power then we’ll check into a nearby hotel. Our house is all-electric and we’re on well water.

Other people do an everything shower? I thought it was just me! I call it my business shower.

I fill up square plastic containers with water and freeze and put some in the fridge and some in freezer and keep the door shut until power comes back on.

Charged my Ryobi batteries. I can use them to run a phone charger or a fan as needed. Otherwise, Sunday is always laundry and grocery shopping.

DP, but if you have well water, that doesn't work when the power is out so you don't have water. I guess the answer to your question is yes, the faucets run on electricity.

The only thing I am doing to prep is taking my sturdier umbrella to work, wearing my rain boots, and leaving early before the storm starts during rush hour.

Our well pump runs on electricity so no pump, no water, no flushing the toilet. The water in the bathtub is used to fill the toilet tank so the toilet can be flushed.

FCPS only have a three hour early release. They should have cancelled the how day, do that kids have time to prepare.

I will just spend the night at the hospital where I work. Showers, cafeteria, and adjustable beds galore.
