Nah. Just understand that people are different. |
Good for you. |

I listen to audiobooks but also enjoy EITM during morning routines or I catch some of the clips they post after. Not everything in life has to be serious.
As much as I’d hate for them to go, I hope they’re just retiring/quitting/fired and it’s not the death that PP suggests! |
He’s toned things down in recent years. I remember finding his laugh super annoying back in the day. I think he’s made it less annoying now, either that or I’ve grown used to it. |
| Announcement tomorrow at 7am…hope all is well for them |
Seriously, if I am sentenced to Purgatory I will have to hear Elliot’s cackle on a loop for a few thousand years. It instantly enrages me when I hear it. I cannot fathom how a man with his voice has a career in broadcasting. (Then again Trump is the President of the United States so I guess all kinds of horrors are possible.) |
I listen to npr/bbc in the morning. Is that talk radio? |
| Rumor mill is saying Diane’s husband died. |
| What does the tweet say? |
I don’t understand why you’re posting on this thread. You don’t like it; many of us do. I’m a pretty typical lawyer, type A DC resident, and I laugh out loud whenever Eliot laughs. It’s contagious. I also relish his disregard for norms and restrictions. It’s freeing to know others live like that. |
+1. The sanctimonious people posting here are exactly the kind of thing we can get away from by listening to EITM. |
Dianes husband Scott passed away. Their daughter posted it on IG apparently There is a thread on reddit about it
|
|
| The daughter posted “rest easy, Dad”, and I’m guessing she didn’t realize how many randos from EITM were following her. Shortly after, she locked down her account. |
I have seen this online but also seen that it’s fake. Regardless, it doesn’t explain why the whole show has been off the air and what type of announcement will be made tomorrow at 7am. If it is true, I am sorry for Diane, but she would take leave and the show would continue. |
