DD toured before junior year, loved it, decided to apply -- and is prepared to be rejected.
Throughout this whole process, we haven't talked about it much because it's just never felt like anything but hubris to imagine MIT would accept her.

But... It would be a better fit for her than I care to admit.

So, gonna go ahead and join those who are hoping for an acceptance tomorrow! Why not.

My high stats kid from a couple of years ago saw all those prompts about research, projects etc scared him away from applying. LOL. Good luck all

4.0uw/4.95w from MCPS non-W school. 1560 SAT. Tons of APs/IB/DE with independent research in math. FGLI. Sports (but not recruited athlete,) solid but not exceptional EC's.
