Good luck! I know three kids ea deferred then ed admitted. DC was deferred then waitlisted then rejected in June.

My DD has heart set on MIT for next year, which is not wise. If rejected or admitted, can you share why DC thought they were a good candidate? Stats, ECs, whatever? TIA and good luck all!

No. It only went to parents if deferred applicants.

Same here. Same kid was also deferred from UChicago despite super high stats and great ECs.
