Why are so few criticizing Trump on Iran?

??? All I see is criticism, OP. I don't know where you're getting your news from.

Can you point me to some please? Even Rachel Maddow who hates Trump more than anyone spent most of her recent segment criticizing Trump for loosening sanctions on Russia and then Iran for targeting US servicemen in the Gulf, without really addressing the elephant in the room: the fact that we attacked Iran first!

Dems and Republicans are relatively united on one thing and that's their support for Israel so expect the criticism to be subdued due to their AIPAC handlers.

Usually the left and the media are very quick to criticize Trump for anything and everything. Yet on this one, they are virtually silent.

There is plenty of analysis of the negative effects of the war, yes, but no real criticism of Trump’s decision to initiate it. There was far more criticism of his Venezuelan invasion.

Why? Very little criticism from Democratic politicians, from the media, and on down to the Liberals I follow on social media who hate Trump the most. They’re all silent.

I would say Iran his one of the biggest blunders and not "the one". Competing biggest blunders are: COVID Pandemic handling, January 6th Insurrection, Blackmailing Ukraine, Epstein File handling and now Iran War.

OK, fair enough, but Democrats were literally rabid on all of those issues, and are much quieter on this one. The silence is deafening. What gives?!

Maybe you need to adjust what news you are consuming. I see all sorts of criticism from a variety of corners and most particularly democrats.

I see quite a bit of criticism, OP, so, whoever you’re listening to and whatever you’re reading, it seems your sources are different from mine.

One thing that’s different about this though, is that Trump doesn’t seem to care about criticism in a useful way. He started this war without going through Congress, and without the support of the MAGA base who apparently expected him to “put America first” and to stay out of wars as the “peace President “. There is almost no support for this war. It might be that your sources of information view criticism that’s not listened to, let alone heeded, as useless.

Then again, maybe you’re just trolling.

I see a ton of criticism. Should there be more? Sure, but it’s out there. The problem with constant evil incompetence is that there is a lot to go around.

Can you please provide some cites for the strongest criticism yoy have seen in mainstream media? Because I’m not seeing much.

This is why we have X accounts. Mainstream media is for the sheeple.

OP here. Definitely not trolling, and glad there’s no widespread support for this war. But where are the critical opinion pieces? Can you point me to them? Because, as I said, the likes of Rachel Maddow still seem more focused on painting Russia a warmonger as opposed to Trump. And she even criticized Iran for defending itself.

Sure, and that’s great, but shouldn’t mainstream media also be critical of Trump for starting this devastating and purposeless war?

But why? Maybe Schumer is personally pro Israel, but all the Dems?

It's about funding. AIPAC helps primary people that are anti-Israel.

Thank you very much. I will watch it. This is what I was sensing.

Why do we let them do that?

Are you only now realizing that our policies and politicians are strongly influenced by whoever is helping them get elected?

Sure, but to let one country influence our politicians from both sides to that degree is just so disturbing.
