Liberty University’s law school sent students an email about summer internships and said the most important thing is that applicants “MUST be aligned politically with President Trump and his administration.”

The email told students that “GPA is not a strong factor.”

Students who get interviews will reportedly face traditional questions along with political ones, including whether they voted for Trump, whether they disagree with him on anything, and what they think about specific executive orders.

With the current hiring climate AND Trump eliminating DEI bc meritocracy should be the only consideration….

Clearly not illegal for federal appointees. DH was up for a very high level position within DoD. He has never posted anything political on any social media, was extremely well qualified, and got through all gatekeepers until the final one where they do a search to make sure that you are a Trump supporter. Meaning posting pro Trump, liking pro Trump postings, donating. Failed on that. Post is still open 6 months later.

He should sue them. How is this legal for any job, especially a federal one?!
