| Our counselors have been sloppy and lazy but they met with my freshman and junior weeks ago. I thought it was a little late TBH. Guess Westfield is even worse. |

Meeting with the counselor is supposed to be the FIRST STEP in selecting classes for next year. Then the student discusses with parents, the parents consult with current teachers and the counselor, and everyone reaches a consensus on the best plan for the student.
How is a HS freshman expected to accomplish that in two days before the "deadline"? |

| These freshmen still haven't met with the counselor. She might have been planning on meeting with them on Thursday, or Friday! When you can't make changes AFTER Friday. So the parent would have zero input into the courses selected? |
