| Sam’s Club champagne is delicious and costs about $25 a bottle. |

There is absolutely no reason to spend extra money on sparkling wine that's going into mimosas. Anyone who claims they can tell the difference with all that extra sugar is kidding themselves. |
|
It is absolutely not all the same. The worst Champagne from France is better than the worst generic sparkling wine.
If price is the main determinant, genuine prosecco or cava is better value than generic sparkling wine. The latter could even be fizzed up with gas. |
| Total Wine & More. They can help you with this on-site, OP. Also will have the best prices. |
No, Costco has the best prices and quality on wine. By far. |
It's literally not the same. Champagne is natural. The fermentation is process is different. The bubbles are different. Nothing wrong with prosecco, especially for this purpose, but they're not "the same" and shouldn't be used interchangeably. It's like Coke is a cola, but not all colas are the same, you know? |
Disagree! Plus, Total Wine has excellent customer service, which is sounds like OP could use. |
There are plenty of sparkling wines that use the exact same process as champagne. It's literally printed right there on the bottle; "Méthode Champenoise." That being said it's fitting you used coke as an example because using good champagne for mimosas is as stupid as putting Pappy Van Winkle in your whiskey and coke. The mixer makes it all the same. |
| The host does not mean actual champagne, which would never be used for mimosas. She means sparkling wine or prosecco. La Marca is a reliable, reasonably priced option. The Costco brand is also perfectly fine. |
If you're mixing it with juice who cares? That's the point. |
This is the correct answer |
Hahahhahaa ok |
This. Don't buy the good stuff to mix with orange juice. This is a job for your 8 dollarest bottle of wine. |
| If you are going out to a brunch why are your byomimosas? Most restaurants have them. |
