I hate how s*** the world became after Covid

I agree with this. But I think the social isolation/screen reliance wouldn’t be as bad now if Covid hadn’t happened.

Yeah, look at the vibrant 90s environment as portrayed in the new JFK, Jr. show - everybody is interacting, no noses in phones. We lost a lot socially since then.

You raised iPad kids, that's why.

I dunno man. Covid brain damage is real. More so with multiple infections 🤯

Well, that explains OP’s opinion on the harm Covid did.

I agree with those saying that Covid and social media have destroyed society. I think AI and the current political environment is going to make it even worse.

Things were not great pre-covid, you were just lucky you didn't notice it.

That was definitely a turning point in some ways but back then our enemy was external. We weren’t approaching civil war.

The world’s response to COVID was so dumb and such an unnecessary overreaction. Now literally everything in society is worse

You’re kind of dim, aren’t you

Good for you boomer. I was a new grad with almost nothing in the market when Covid happened

So was I in 9/11 and still broke in 2009. You go through few of those cycles before your turn comes.
2009 was by far the worst. Even minimum wage jobs were not available. Now you can work 3 of them.

The very fabric of society frayed in a way that’s not easily mended.

I think it has more to do with a certain political movement than Covid.
