| Just in case people want to know where they go to college. |
|
Yes, they do OP.
Your kids may have heard that it is not cool to wear your HD swag in college. |
| Of course they do - they live in sweatshirts and sweatpants on campus and off campus. They roll into class in their college gear, their boy/girl friends college gear, their friends college gear |
| The college bookstores do collaborations with major brands. There was a lineup for the debut of the Lululemon collab. |
Same with mine at a big school and a small one. Both are in small college towns. I agree with PP that it seems less pervasive at urban universities. |
| They do at the 5Cs. |
|
My kid is an athlete and provided tons of free clothing with the college name emblazoned on it…and my kid waits to the last possible moment to do laundry.
Even if the normal college kid had some “coolness” issue with wearing college name stuff, the combination of lots of free swag and reluctance to do laundry will eventually have them wearing the numerous shirts and sweatshirts given to them. |
| Almost exclusively!! Have you never toured a school?? |
I just came in here to say this. My DD has so much Michigan gear! |
Yeah, every school we toured kids were wearing merch. Enough that it was noticeable. Everything from shirts I assume were free to expensive looking fleece quarter zips |
| Of course! |
| No, they go to football games in ties. Wait, that's just UVA in the 00s. |
| Of course, that way when the get drunk and pass out they know where to drop them off |
| Tons |
| This is silly. Of course college kids wear clothes with their college name. |
