+1, I'm a size 2 and a serious athlete, but I have loose tummy skin from pregnancy and have just accepted it's never going away. I am also 46 and in perimenopause, and my body has changed shape slightly in ways that aren't really noticeable in regular clothes but that I certainly notice in a bathing suit. I'm happy to have a more compressive swimsuit to make me feel more confident and feminine. PP is an ahole. |
| I, too, have loose stomach skin from pregnancies, but I don’t like the super compression suite for the same reason as another poster- they squish down my boobs too much and also cause backfat/side boob fat to pop out prominently (I’m 5’4”, 125 lbs and toned- but aging just does this to one). |

Albion Fit. Absolutely love my suits from there
I didn’t like the leg openings on the Summersalt ones, personally. |

I've neer seen anyone wearing those suts and frankly, they are unattractive.
The best way to get a suit that works for your body is to go to a store and try on a ton of them. |
| Left on friday |
| I wear speedo. |
Every mom in the DMV owns one it seems. |
i agree, haha. at our md pool club the moms either are wearing this suit or the hunza g … although that probably means the bathing suits work well for a variety of women! |
| Lands End is still solid and because of constant sales is priced more moderately than other options posted here. |
I see that one shoulder one from OP's pick all the time and think it's really matronly looking. I get people like that it sucks you in, but the neckline is not very flattering for a bathing suit and the leg openings tend to cut you off and make your legs look shorter. It's hard now to try on suits in a store because a lot of the better brands have really limited availability in store, at least in DC. I do try to go suit shopping when I'm in a city like Miami or San Diego, as there tends to be more and better options for in person shopping. Has anyone tried the suits from Boden? Some of them are cute and I like that they are bright and colorful -- a lot of swimsuit brands aimed at middle aged women are really plain and kind of dreary. But I usually buy from brands that specialize in swimwear or at least in workout clothes. A long time ago JCrew used to do a good job with swimsuits but now they are crap and I don't trust clothing brands with swim as much. |
Come on, most women in this area are a perfectly BMI healthy weight. “The gym” isn’t going to help with sagging skin from multiple pregnancies, sagging in general from pregnancies and the associated weight gain and loss, stretch marks, etc. If you were really a mom, you would know this. |
Shut up |
I own 2 Boden swimsuits, and both are cute and have held up well, but the leg openings are similar to summersalt’s (I think both need to be a little bit higher). |
| I saw a recommendation for cupshe somewhere and ordered one on amazon which I never do but it’s pretty flattering with decent compression and left through the bust. |
What a wench.
