I've neer seen anyone wearing those suts and frankly, they are unattractive. The best way to get a suit that works for your body is to go to a store and try on a ton of them.
I see that one shoulder one from OP's pick all the time and think it's really matronly looking. I get people like that it sucks you in, but the neckline is not very flattering for a bathing suit and the leg openings tend to cut you off and make your legs look shorter. It's hard now to try on suits in a store because a lot of the better brands have really limited availability in store, at least in DC. I do try to go suit shopping when I'm in a city like Miami or San Diego, as there tends to be more and better options for in person shopping. Has anyone tried the suits from Boden? Some of them are cute and I like that they are bright and colorful -- a lot of swimsuit brands aimed at middle aged women are really plain and kind of dreary. But I usually buy from brands that specialize in swimwear or at least in workout clothes. A long time ago JCrew used to do a good job with swimsuits but now they are crap and I don't trust clothing brands with swim as much.
I own 2 Boden swimsuits, and both are cute and have held up well, but the leg openings are similar to summersalt’s (I think both need to be a little bit higher).
