Nice weather, nice campus, good basketball, seems fun, good reputation. It makes sense that it would be one of a group of public flagships to apply to EA.

Isn’t it higher than that? I don’t get the appeal either but my whole family is from NC and I barely want to spend the holiday weekend with them.

Full pays bias this year? UNC slashed oos financial aid so would think so.

Legacy is a HUGE hook for OOS applicants. (Even those who are not major donors).

"Alluring" about UNC also, is that OOS tuition is a lot lower than say, Michigan. We allowed our kids to put UNC on the list, but not Michigan.
