Me neither. I don't understand why it's getting so much acclaim at all.

Me three. It was boring and cringy at times.

+4 one of the most overrated movies I’ve seen in a long time.

I haven't seen OBAA yet, but I was incredibly disappointed in last year's Best Picture (Anora). While it was entertaining enough, in no way was it a "BEST" Picture. Hope they pick better this year.

Delroy Lindo, at 73, has his first Oscar nomination (for Sinners), and I am so here for it! I have been a fan for many years and think he is incredibly underrated. I thought he should have gotten an Oscar for his role in Crooklyn back in 1994. He is a legend of black cinema with a very diverse body of work. I really hope he wins this!

The only big surprise is Sentimental Value doing so well, since it was hit or miss in early award nominations. The "snubs" are not really snubs, since they also had been hit or miss prior (Paul Mescal, Chase Infiniti et al). Though I would have picked Jesse Plemmons over Benicio del Toro.

Critics seem to agree that One Battle After Another is pretty much a lock for Best Picture and Best Director, and Teyana Taylor for supporting actress. I'd also pick Sean Penn for supporting, but that one is a little more open.

Would love to see Wagner Moura win Best Actor, think he has a shot.

Surprised to see that F1 got a BP nom. Really? Other than the sharp racing scenes, found that movie trite and forgettable.

Seems the award ceremony could be quite boring.

I think Plemons would have been in Lead Actor consideration, right? I loved Benicio in OBAA but that was definitely a supporting role.

Yes, you're right.

I forgot to mention Jessie Buckley will obviously win Best Actress. I'm a little stunned Kate Hudson was nominated for that drippy film. It/she must be much better than the trailers suggest.

Kate Hudson was excellent in Song Sung Blue. I thought the move was OK — it’s way more of an emotional roller coaster than the preview suggests — but she was great. She also got a surprise nom for Almost Famous way back when; she’s popular with her colleagues… maybe Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell love helps?

KPOP Demon-Hunters is winning that best animated feature title.

I'm still working my way through OBAA (watching it after kids' bedtime) but I'm hooked. Just got to the Benicio del Toro scenes.

Zootopia 2 looks like it will fight with KPDH.

Not sure about Arco but I thought it was great. I dont think its gonna win.

Never saw Little Amelie but it looks cute.

Elio is kinda boring. I feel like another contender would replace it.

I liked Elio actually. It was cute and I got to see it with my 9 year-old the day it came out, even though the theater was very empty for the showtimes. The snail creature was so adorable and it did feel some emotion to me. It isn't on par with Pixar's other movies but I would give it a 6.5/10. Its one of those movies thats really a true definition of “kids will love it, not appealing for teenagers”

I'm so glad that corporate abomination Wicked 2 got nothing.

I absolutely hated it. I’m genuinely baffled by how much the critics love this movie.

I barely see them. Maybe adjust your social media algorithms?
