Hailey/Hayley

I love this name so much but most likely won’t be able to get away with using it because it is my brother’s girlfriend’s name. If they break up, then we’re definitely using it. He’s probably going to marry her though.

I wouldn’t let any of my family members (especially an in-law) affect the name choices for my children.

I liked it until a PP mentioned Justin Bieber’s wife. I somehow totally forgot that this is her name. She’s just one of those people where her name doesn’t register in your head.

My first association was Eminem’s daughter’s name.

Don’t love it.

I picture a girl or woman who is skinny with pale white skin, medium-long blonde or red straight/wavy hair, and any eye color.

Eminem’s daughter

Hailey Bieber, Hailee Steinfeld, Hailie Scott Mathers (Eminem’s daughter), Hayley LeBlanc, Hailey Clark (Katie Bates’ daughter)...

It's an alright name - just not terribly fresh in 2026. How about Hallie?

+1

This describes the two Haileys (not sure how they spell their names) that I know completely. One is a thin pale redhead with brown eyes. The other is a thin pale blonde with brown eyes who wears glasses and has a bunch of freckles.

Haleigh Cummings was my first thought. 😢

I don't like it, but I'm neutral on it. Sounds like a white, lower middle class, girl next door.

Perfectly articulated my association with this name. It's not a Tragedeigh but I wouldn’t chose it either. I agree with others it's a little dated and cheesy.

I have trouble with a Hailey being taken seriously - like in a board room/applying for jobs as an adult

Hailey is probably the least misspelled variation.

I’m sorry, but I can’t help but think of a bale of hay when I hear or see this name (no matter how it’s spelled). It sounds like it would be the name of a farm/country girl. 👩🏼‍🌾 🚜 🌾 🤠
