No. Not even remotely. Get real.

However, it's very icy out there and supposed to be cold in the morning and I am a bit worried about getting to school tomorrow. We are at the far end of the boundary from our school so it's normally a 15-20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. But if the ice is very bad it could easily take 30+ minutes and I wouldn't want to drive because who wants to de-ice the car for a 5 minute drive on icy roads.

So I might be pro-delay?

I'm pro-delay but not because of de-icing the car. Normal people scrape the windshields the night before, OP. Then you can just enter your car in the morning and drive. The problem is walkers who don't have cars!

Obviously a moot point but that was the whole issue -- I don't want to de-ice the car the night before for a 5 minute drive to school.

But whatever because kid said she wants to walk and DH offered to take her. Hopefully sidewalks aren't too bad. Ugh.

Y'all are like children. Even worse than children. The roads are clear.

How some of you people manage to even put on clean underwear each morning is beyond me.

My kid was excited to put on five layers and a face mask for his 20-minute bike ride to school. It was cute.

School will not be delayed because someone doesn’t want to de-ice their car. This is a ridiculous assertion.
