I'm pro-delay but not because of de-icing the car. Normal people scrape the windshields the night before, OP. Then you can just enter your car in the morning and drive. The problem is walkers who don't have cars!

Obviously a moot point but that was the whole issue -- I don't want to de-ice the car the night before for a 5 minute drive to school.

But whatever because kid said she wants to walk and DH offered to take her. Hopefully sidewalks aren't too bad. Ugh.[/quote]
