JMU in the CFP

Imagine throwing a terrible interception into double coverage on a trick play to knock yourself out of the CFP? I hope y’all didn’t stay up late for that kick in the stones. Hoos to Boo Hoos in seconds.

JMU will get blown out when they play Indiana or whoever they face.

And where is the value there?

JMU has no business at this level. It's a participation trophy.

They should probably just decline the money and invitation, huh?

JMU will face the Oregon Duck in Eugene, and I am 100% confident that the Oregon Duck will completely destroy the Dukes. Tulane already lost bad to Ole Miss back in October. There is no reason to think the second time will be any different. JMU and Tulane fit the definition of "participation trophy".

Bet you're nott a fan of 68 teams in March Madness either.

I hope UVA has excellent mental health services on campus.

Huh? DEI is quite the bogeyman for you people. Anything you don’t like, you just blame on DEI.

People really think JMU and Tulane are better than Texas, Vandy, BYU, and ND? That’s like comparing the NBA to the G league. If that’s not DEI in action, I’m not sure what is.

No one said that. 5 highest rated conference champs and 7 at large. Them the rules. It will be changed again so only SEC, B10 and ND can compete.

Texas, Vandy, BYU, ND and UVA all had a chance to make the CFP but stubbed their toes at some point in the season and that resulted n them looking in from the outside.

I have a second year at UVA, so yesterday’s loss is still sore. I’m happy for JMU though. Coach Elko’s over the top celebration at UVA’s missed field goal was in my opinion poor sportsmanship and a very bad look for Duke. Just yuck.

Elko is at Texas A&M. And Coach Diaz is one of the most decent college football coaches out there. Compare him to some of the dirtbags in the SEC (like Kirby Smart, who has no concerns about his team having countless excessive speeding tickets, DUIs, etc.) and Belichick and he is a saint. Lighten up, Francis.

So excited for JMU - who doesn’t like a good David and Goliath match up - if JMU does win , it will be legendary, and for good reason.
