Is there a place to see real time TSA wait times?

TSA walked out at Houston a few days ago. Lines out the wazoo.

Supposedly only 4% being canceled tomorrow and they will ramp up to 10% over a week.

No starting Friday 10 percent shit show coming per United and delta

United says flights to/from their hubs (which includes IAD) will not be impacted.

Where are you seeing that? This is what the top of their web page says:

"The U.S. government plans to restrict flights beginning Friday, November 7, due to the ongoing federal government shutdown. We’re making updates to our schedule and will let you know if your flight is affected as soon as possible"

Since every flight touches one of their hubs, not sure how they could avoid this altogether.

I got a mass email from the CEO this morning. Here’s an excerpt:

Our flight reductions will start on Friday, November 7, and we'll make rolling updates to our schedule as the government shutdown continues. United's long-haul international flying will not be affected, nor will service between our hub airports: Chicago O'Hare, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark Liberty International, San Francisco and Washington Dulles

Okay that's different, this means United Dulles international flights and flights to Denver, Houston, LA, Newark and San Francisco won't be cut, but any other flight may be.

I tried the TSA app but it has a warning that it may not be accurate as no one is maintaining the website.

Cancel

You cannot be this stupid

Flights are canceled it’s not about TSA lines

You won’t get home this will get way worse maga dummies

When I posted this, they either hadn’t announced the flight cancellations or I at least hadn’t seen them yet. Given all that, I have cancelled my trip. I was already concerned about the Houston-like TSA back up and the flight cancellations certainly were the final straw.

Lucky that I am flying between 2 hubs then.
