Very short for TSA Pre at Dulles this morning. Supposedly only 4% being canceled tomorrow and they will ramp up to 10% over a week.
No starting Friday 10 percent shit show coming per United and delta
United says flights to/from their hubs (which includes IAD) will not be impacted.
Where are you seeing that? This is what the top of their web page says: "The U.S. government plans to restrict flights beginning Friday, November 7, due to the ongoing federal government shutdown. We’re making updates to our schedule and will let you know if your flight is affected as soon as possible" Since every flight touches one of their hubs, not sure how they could avoid this altogether.
I got a mass email from the CEO this morning. Here’s an excerpt: Our flight reductions will start on Friday, November 7, and we'll make rolling updates to our schedule as the government shutdown continues. United's long-haul international flying will not be affected, nor will service between our hub airports: Chicago O'Hare, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark Liberty International, San Francisco and Washington Dulles
