Why haven’t there been food riots yet?

Why would you have to? If people were actually desperate and hungry they would. You don't need to "encourage" it unless it's not an actual crisis?

You were not aware that SNAP buys cake? - along with other highly-processed junk food?

He’s not wrong.

Specifically not wrong about the 6 states having to get waivers to stop highly-processed/unhealthy foods from being bought with SNAP. And the other 44 states?

People need to realize the ripple effect here, because many people with jobs will be hurt once EBT runs out. For example, retail workers, the workers in food processing plants, 7-11 workers and owners, etc.

Listen fool, I am claiming that people need Snap Benefits. Period. I personally do not care what they spend it on. I'm not policing anyone's food purchases.

I can't speak for Michelle (apparently you can). I do know she is not in office, and has never held office. I don't know why you think her opinion (if accurate) is relevant to the discussion. It would have only been relevant from 2009-2017. We are EIGHT years out from the Obama presidency.

Neither does the person who posted it.

It means that many poor people live in neighborhoods without real grocery stores so they eat what's available.
