They will not give it to me even cash pay.

If you meet the age limit go to Costco or Walmart and make an online appointment for an immunization. If your DOB is over the limit, the Gardasil vax will not show up as an option. There appears to be the option to be full pay at Costco member or non-member, (around $300) and not use insurance. Similar arrangement at Walmart pharmacy immunizations. I don't know if they require age confirming documentation. Ahem.

Not necessarily. If you had been exposed to the virus way back in the day and cleared it naturally, it is believed it can reactivate, particularly during menopause. Not sure why, change in hormones, change in vaginal pH.

THIS.

Just switched GYNs, who basically indicated that eventually there may be another exposure but more importantly - THIS and as we get older our immune systems get weaker and it reactivates. it's the aging immune system.

I'm 45 and just got my first two - it's absolutely covered, and no side effects for me! my insurance go basically said as long as you start before you turn 46 it's fine

I also got two at age 45/46, now 47. I read a lot and two shots get you pretty far. I’m monogamous but who knows what life has in store.
