| I liked his reviews but definitely didn't always agree with his favorites. I cancelled the Post so I haven't read one for at least a year, so I won't miss him as much as I otherwise might have. |
|
He’s had an incredible run and I will especially miss his Wednesday chats, one of few that have endured at WaPo.
Has his replacement been announced? |
He's so cute though! |
Yeah, without the restaurant names this is just PP trying to make herself feel superior to Sietsema (and people who like his reviews). And being snotty in the process. |
😆 |
Use your brain cells. MAGA |
I think people who say "actually fabulous" are likely to be people who love Real Housewives. One of the things I appreciated most about his reviews was the details, so if he didn't like, for example, barbecue sauce that he found too sweet, I would know not to rule it out (I like sweet barbecue sauce) |
|
He has a web page, looks like he’s spinning off a business.

| Loved seeing his face and hearing his voice in the video. He said he isn’t retiring. I assume he will announce his plans on his website. |
The only place I can remember him totally panning was Founding Farmers and he was 100% correct. |
That was a great review. Also check out his review of LaVie at the Wharf. Zero stars. |
| Oh my god, good riddance!! He's become worse and worse every year. |
|
I have nothing against him at all and wish him well... but I don't put stock in food critics. They don't have my tastes and I don't have their tastes, so I don't find them very useful.
|
| I always pictured him as much older. |

The video shows him in younger days. Handsome! |
