They do have the power - they just have to disclose the locations on the hostages and of the remaining terrorists, which are surely known to many so-called "innocents" whose silence makes them complicit with Hamas. Showing some spine in that regard is apparently more difficult than moaning about their lot in life for having failed to stand up earlier against their own corrupt terrorist government.

This goes along with: A United Nations Commission of Inquiry concluded on Tuesday that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza and that top Israeli officials including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu incited these acts

So basically just an acceleration of the ongoing. The question is do Israeli supporters also support genocide?

You Liberals need to get out of your limited brains to see how the World actually works.

Hamas is totally responsible for any deaths. It's the type of warfare they chose. Hide amongst the Civilians and use them for shields. Hamas has the option to dig a line in the sand and fight to the last man away from the Civilians. Have they ever done that ? or they can simply lay down their weapons.
