Do you or partner use edibles?

Because you fall for snake oil gimmicks and it makes your partner think less of you?

Like... edible underwear? Oh, you mean cannabis.

No. We don't use cannabis because it's not regulated, can lead to psychosis, and is a scheduled drug that could cost us our jobs.

Sorry you can't enjoy your partner while sober, I guess?

Just be out and proud! You're getting high. Whether you have a gigantic bong on the coffee table or not.

This. "I don't smoke weed, but I sometimes pop a gummy" is so stupid. You use drugs. Just own it.

This.

And I also judge people for falling for beauty and other money wasing gimmicks. So, yeah, if DH were this stupid it would cause problems. I actually have less of a problem with alcohol, because it's legal. If smoking pot were totally legal, I'd have less of a problem with that. It would bother me for health reasons, just like alcohol.

Yes and yes. It’s legal and regulated in my state. Only on weekends. I have no idea why it would affect our relationship.

It’s a drug. I own it. So is alcohol. I do not consider myself a “druggie” but if you consider me one, idgaf.

It’s relaxing and fun and I don’t really see why some of you are so cranky about it. Maybe you need an edible.

I’m a fed with a TS clearance, so I can’t. Spouse is a no, also.

CBD is snake oil. You may not like THC, but it has a legitimate impact on the user, which many people enjoy.

Yeah, what’s up with that?

I’m ridiculously uninhibited when on THC or after a glass of wine. BF knows about the wine as he watches me drink it at dinner. He has no idea about the edibles. He just mentions that sometimes I’m more adventurous in bed than others.

Mine uses THC gummies to sleep bc he’s an insomniac. It has impacted our marriage for the better bc he’s well rested.

Both my husband and I take mainly CBD gummies for sleep and pain. They work better, with fewer side effects, than anything else we've tried. It wouldn't matter one bit to me if he didn't want to take them. Why should it?

I enjoy drugs every day. It makes life fun and enjoyable.

DCUM can have a lot of Aunt Pittypats who have been heavily influenced by the vintage "Reefer Madness" film - which is hilarious if you're slightly buzzed, btw.
