“107 Days” new book by Kamala Harris

Hmmmm... pretty sure Harris wasn't the weak link in that tandem. Anyone who accepted Biden's VP offer would be entering a career ending situation just as Pence and Vance did.

Hoping you are right about Vance, but something feels like Vance will get to play POTUS because Trump ain't making it to 2028.

He will make it just like Biden made it to '24. Which is worse: Vance or another GOP this job attracts only the worst.

Hate each other? Maybe. Maybe not considering they have each other to thank for their recent general election victories. There is no conceivable way Trump wins in 2024 without Biden being the extremely unpopular sitting POTUS and Trump is one of the few people on Earth Biden could have beaten in 2020. They should be best friends but they're too out of touch with reality to realize it.

It’s always about money. Don’t delude yourself. Harris was chosen because she could use Biden’s campaign funds because she was on his ticket as the vp.

Dems chose money and party over country.

With 107 days left there wasn’t much of a choice. DNC should have been preparing after midterms.

Agree 100%. She didn't ask to be put into that no-win situation but she worked her butt and did the best she could against insurmountable odds. Biden lost the 2024 election for the Dems; not Harris.

Also, if BIden resigned due to cognitive difficulties, she would have been the President and no one primaries against the sitting President. He sort of resigned by not running again AND even if he didn’t, sitting VPs often automatically get the nod from a party anyway. Robust primaries against a sitting VP or President don’t typically happen.

SHe was the obvious and traditional choice for the nomination.
