“wear the crest”? If that doesn’t win the prize for cringiest thing I’ve heard. You have really bought into this stuff. I’ll bet your kids club is licking their chops at all the stuff you’ll pay for in pursuit of the crest. Keep putting in that work. |
You’re an idiot and have no idea what you’re talking about. That poster provided helpful context for parents and some transparency into the national team process, which is not transparent at all. It only impacts the top 1% of players, but it is cool to hear. Wearing the crest. That’s what it’s called when you actually play for the national team in an age group. This player has been called into 24 player camps which means she has been as close as you can get without playing in a game. Sounds like she just needs to get called into a camp that has a match or tournament linked to it. |
I'm the poster that wrote that and thank you to the above poster - not sure how else to have worded the that next step. Get called to matches? As to the poster that thinks its the cringiest thing you've heard. That's your opinion and you are entitled to it, but getting to that next step is an accomplishment that we will be proud of. As for extra stuff that we'll pay for? Not sure exactly what you are driving at there...outside trainings? Sure, she does them? Strength / Agility training. Bingo there too. And my DD will keep putting in the work. Enjoy your weekend! |
Have the invites for Leesburg gone out to players though? Haven't seen any of the usual posts about it. |
There is an embargo on posting |
The list is not out yet |
The list is out. |
Where do you find? |
You receive an email from them with the list. |
What if I told you an invite only costs a christmas/holiday $500 donation to the club DOC.
Have literally seen it happen. Also most DOCs/Coaches use either league or national team invites as recruitment devices. It's sad watching the players playing by the rules get screwed. However USM/WNT scouts do look for players u12-u13 if they think youre a good player they'll reach out directly past the club coaches. When this happens they directly invite the player and tell the club coaches to f off. |
I’ll take “things that don’t happen for $300”. |
NA kids are already posting. So that doesn’t make sense. Regardless I just cant wait for the gossip around one club that dropped a Big ball. Parents will lose their sh!t. |
there is no embargo. the letter says you can promote it but as a Talent ID camp not a call-up. this is a step towards possible future call-ups.
but the list is not posted publicly so nobody would go out of their way to distribute it. it's usynt's responsibiltiy to make things more transparent. |
Northern Virginia’s most powerful youth soccer club? The one with the best coaches and the best fields and the best teams? The one with the most partner clubs? The strongest leadership? |
