Exactly.... |
Eh, we've played in local tournaments on fields in Fairfax and Loudoun that have plenty of parking, and the parents don't have to sit behind a chain link fence. And teams are allowed tents. Pretty much all tournaments are the same when it comes right down to it, so why not go with the one with the least amount of headaches for the families? The worst is an away tournament and the fields are crappy grass/dirt with parking hassles. Why are we traveling for this? |
You going for your kid to play soccer or you going for a family camping reunion? Show pictures of the crappy grass and dirt fields at this complex |
Why so defensive of this field? do you own it? |
| I find it suspiciosu that so many posts are so defensive about this field complex. Its not great for games and tournaments due to all the logistical fails. |
| The only games we’ve played there are state cup. It’s a long drive but we typically make long drives for soccer. We didn’t like the lack of restroom facilities but to be fair, this is a complaint at many fields. I don’t understand how bathrooms are not a consideration when these places are built. I’m tired of having to leave fields mid-game and drive to a business with a bathroom. And what about the players? But I digress. I think the park is no better nor worse than many places. It’s not a place I’d choose but it gave us an excuse to visit Annapolis. |
Why so critical and negative? You own a competing location? |
|
Is it privately owned? Its not owned by the county?
Its weird that a posted jumped in ASAP to keep defending a random field. Who cares that much? |
ITA, especially for teenage girls dealing with tampons etc. Ridiculous and gross not to have bathrooms and sinks for hand washing. |
That's the dirty secret of a lot of these complexes. They're all rented from private companies and the customer should be able to provide feedback especially for how much it costs to rent space and the adequacy of the facilities. |
| Oh, so it is privately owned? That's surprising. You would think they would be more concerned with the customer experience then a public facility. |
Like Muldoon Farms nice bathrooms |
How is the complex named in the headline of this thread and also random? |
Just think its odd that someone is so angry that anyone is critiquing the field. |
Yes, this field is a terrible experience, just like Muldoon. Agree! |
