We went to the park by the river to run a 5K last winter. Another time I went to see the Frederick Douglass Historic Site. And... that's about it.

I'm a real estate agent, and I love learning about the entire city. There are some really lovely homes and neighborhoods in Ward 8.

I don’t consider navy yard to be that safe.


It’s not. Not even on game days. That is why there are often reactive juvenile curfews in effect in Navy Yard. One is in effect again now.

I agree- unless you know people who live there, you wouldn't go there due to the lack of amenities. It's also very far from NW/Bethesda and the Virginia inner suburbs where I assume most DCUM-ers are posting from.
