DOGE staffer wrecked in DC, Trump threatening to federalize DC

Anonymous
Big Ball got jumped? I’d bet my life savings it wasn’t random. He was with an @sshold or it was targeted.

It would be kinda hilarious if history books will forever have to write how DC is federalized from now until eternity because "Big Balls" got kicked and beaten.

That's Musk's version of the story but the Washington Post says he was injured in an "attempted carjacking".

We will probably have to wait to learn the full story.

I will not be surprised if it turns out he left his car unlocked and running and saw people jumping in.

The DC thugs were attacking the woman in her car.

Big Balls stepped in to save her.

That is one possible story.

Hopefully he is just going to pressure the mayor more and not federalize. Bowser has been doing what ever he says anyway

In all seriousness, I hope the kids and their families start getting serious about the crime issue. I don’t think there will be an abundance of large protests like last time. They are on their own.

No matter what your politics, pretty ballsy move, jumping in to save a woman being assaulted at his own personal risk.

1) musk jumping in support of Trump is cute, it’s amazing how $29B can bring a person to heel.

2) I’m a little skeptical of him coming to rescue of some woman, but who knows maybe he lives up to his name

3) is this stuff really happening near DuPont and U Street?

Have you been in a coma?

Big balls grandfather was a KGB double agent.

Hiding in plain sight.

I hope Trump takes over DC and makes Big Balls mayor plenipotentiary

It happened on Swann Street. That is not U Street no matter how you draw it.

In the old days of the 90s, crime was terrible overall but there were safe pockets where you never had to worry about anything.

That has not been the case for half a decade now, so yes crime in Dupont, Swann St etc should not be surprising.

I won’t believe anything abt the details until a very reliable source reports the particulars.

Really? We live two blocks away and I honestly didn’t know that. It was always the 1400 block of R, not the 1400 block of Swann. We love the neighborhood but it’s definitely gotten more dicey since Covid. It sure as hell isn’t smart to be hanging around any of our residential side streets at 3 am on a Saturday night. Not that I’m blaming the victims but that’s just plain nuts.
