I’d take him to the doctor and have him educate him. I’d come down like a ton of bricks and search his stuff and tighten up big time. This can turn into something that will be a very serious problem for a long time. Don’t chance it. |

Of course you observe them lol. They can turn around. Door open after you check the bathroom first and they are wearing boxers And you do it randomly so they can’t try to dilute the test. But the right ones work even if they try. They have at home hair testing kits too. Nothing annoys me more than parents who reply like this. You weren’t diligent. |
Meh. It’s not THAT big of a deal. |
Whistle past the graveyard if you must.... |
That's what I thought until my son became paranoid and wouldn't let me leave the house because he said people were watching us. He admitted he had been hearing voices and they started telling him to hurt others. Thankfully I managed to get a fairly quick appointment with a psychiatrist during Covid (it only took a few weeks) and on antipsychotic medication. I slept with a locked door for a very long time. |
Not the PP but daily weed especially in carts and high dose THC absolutely changes teens. They are completely disengaged, grades are not that great, start skipping class, handing around unmotivated losers. Not to mention issues with psychosis, potential lacing, lack of brain development, and just the fact most are "self medicating" due to mental health issues that aren't being addressed which is really sad. These kids need help |

What has his father done to correct this behavior? You both sound like failures as parents. |
There's a reason why governments around the world pushed weed onto poorer people. |
15 is really young. I would be on them like white on rice. Family counseling, homeschool or private school for a year, signed up for activities every day, including sports. |
My friend put her kid on lockdown for two years. His dad had serious substance abuse issues that started with weed and she herself lost a sibling to a drug-related accidental drowning.
For two years, he was homeschooled and pretty much glued to her hip outside of the bathroom and sleeping. He did therapy and they both volunteered at a community garden run by people in recovery. He’s now an adult and doesn’t touch drugs or alcohol. |
And people will say this is too much but yet they are so many loser addicts dropping out of college and living back home later |
