+2 I’m tired of everyone and their mom asking for a tip. I still tip at restaurants and salon/spa services. Everyone else can eat an egg. |
No. |
Old people |
No, because I’m not always desperately looking around to find a reason not to tip. |
Just want to point out that the bill defined cash tips as all tips (including those left on a credit card) that aren’t tangible goods. (Point 3 under No Tax on Tips in the linked article.) https://www.cbia.com/news/hr-safety/employers-tax-tips-overtime#:~:text=While%20the%20deduction%20applies%20to,gift%20basket%20or%20movie%20tickets. |
I have been doing that for a long time. Too only on hair and sit down restaurants. But if it’s somewhere that pays min wage or salon owner then no tip at all. |
Plus it's only up to a certain amount of income plus it's going to be short-lived? I think I read all that. Not that interesting at the end of the day. Just a fox talking point. |
Same here. They can keep their biscuit-sized burgers and Grade C quality. I have all but ceased eating out for about a year now. |
No tax on kissing your server! |
Apparently you already don’t need to tip in DC because it’s already included or something (?) in the food bill …. or something. No one really knows |
The logic of OP's plan escapes me. Can someone explain it? |
What, cash? That is hella sneaky since so few people pays cash now. Except maybe those religious “number of the beast” MAGA |
+1. |
My daughter is a server she gets at least half her tips in cash each night. |
I don’t tip on anything except table service restaurants and hair/nail services. I plan to continue doing that. |
