Thinking about moving to Israel

I am eligible for citizenship and could make “Aliyah” which is why I’m drawn todo this as it’s a way “out”. If you or someone you know has done this what was your/their experience like?

Brother, do what seems right to you. I grew up in a Muslim country and feel like as a Muslim, I benefited leaving my echo chamber to move to a diverse society.

Op, this isn’t the right place to search for advice on this topic. Are you in any Jewish fb groups in your area. You will likely find people who moved there or have relatives who did. Or reach out to some of the local rabbis and see if they can connect you with people.

It's surprisingly muggy air sometimes due to proximity to the sea. But not much different than the DC area really. Sandy Baltimore.

I considered this after college in the 90s and lived there for two years. I ended up moving back despite having found good friends and getting engaged. I missed my family too much and the bureaucracy was maddening. My fiancé moved back with me but we broke up, because he had a hard time here.

Similar to flyover states and tornado shelters. Just less flying trees.

Both countries, the US and Israel, have the same political values, particularly right now. So, in the end, it has to do with your values, which in this case, are probably religious. So, yes, you can move there. If you are orthodox and you want to learn in a seminary, the country will support you doing that, too. Or if you are going to work there, make sure you and your spouse have job opportunities, because it's expensive. The fact that they have started 2 wars might be enough reason not to go, but you seem like you are all in, and are not afraid, so, fine.
Curious- why are you asking us? Why would anyone here have any opinion or even care why some random person wants to move to this particular country? I think you may have wanted to start thing here, no?

Because it's a troll who knows full well that DCUM is largely against current Israeli policies.
