How many states have you been to?

Anonymous
46. The only ones I haven't been to are Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana and Idaho.

I've lived in 7: Ohio, Alaska, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Virginia. I've spent significant time in Kansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Arkansas and Arizona because I had family living in those states. I've vacationed in Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Nevada, Washington and Hawaii.

The states I've been in but haven't spent a night are Oregon, New Mexico, Wyoming, South Dakota, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

I’ve been to 44 and definitely want to complete all 50. The only one I don’t clearly remember is Iowa so I may need to do that one over.

I’m pretty sure I’ll never complete all of the continents but would like to expand my count at least. I only have 2 so far.

49. I've not been to North Dakota.

All the ones that are beautiful and matter! The y Northeast, Pacific Northwest, the states where the Rockies are, CA, Alaska & Hawaii. I have also been in over 55 countries. I’d take Paris or London over Alabama

25, and drove through 5 more.

46 as an adult (missing ND, MS, AL, and AR).

Have lived in nine (MD, CA, NY, OH, IL, KY, MA, MI, and NM)

41.

Missing the middle strip of ND, SD, NE, KS, IA, MO, and along the bottom AZ, NM, MS.

I’d like to do spring break in the southwest to hit Arizona and New Mexico, and maybe a driving trip through the dakotas, but the remainder will probably stay unvisited for a while unless a random conference or wedding appears in one!

I took my kids on a fun Lewis & Clark Trail roadtrip to cover some of these (although we started in MO and went all of the way to the Pacific.) It might be fun for you...

Just got back from Alaska on Monday - my 50th. There are beautiful or interesting things to do in every state.
