I feel so bad for Chandi. I'm not clear why she broke up with her boyfriend or why a relaxing Cancun vacation wasn't relaxing for her or why she couldn't talk with one of her teammates. But she was clearly Going Through It.

I'm also not clear on why KayDianna got fired - they say she was bullying Chandi on social media? It didn't seem that way to me. I wish they'd done a little "where are they now" on people and said if Chandi and KayDianna are friends.

Victoria wasn't chosen by the Rockettes either.

She doesn't have the rockettes look, dance style, technique or training. She isn't graceful or classical enough to be a Rockette. The Rockettes kick differently from the DCC, this season of DCC explained how the kicks are different (controlled technical balletic battements of the Rockettes vs bouncy power kicks using your hips and quads to push the legs up for the DCC kicks)

I am sure trained dancers can chime in, but the DCC kicks are much worse for the body and more injury inducing than the technical based Rockettes style kicking.

I don't think she had the right build for the Rockettes either. They take lean, athletic, ballet builds, and are quite strict with size.

Charly is an incredible dancer. Dayton was not the right fit, I honestly don't think she even wanted it.

Charly deserved to be on the squad. Dayton never looked happy.

I know Charly said she spent a year training to make the team and went to every dance class in full hair and makeup, but does anyone think something about her looks VERY different? I don't know if it's her makeup or she got stuff done to her face or what. But I liked her look better in the first season. More like a girl next door, more wholesome, who just happens to be really pretty and a great dancer.

Wasn't she 4 years younger and right out of high school the first time?

No. She tried out last season. You’re confusing Charly and Dayton.

Rockette kicks are partly an illusion of height based on their formations, DCC kicks are higher. The jump splits are probably more damaging.

Totally binged it with my teens this weekend. They do a great job with it. I am impressed with how it has changed so much to being focused on the power dancers coming from college teams. Poor Dayton never had a chance. Jada is just all around amazing. Charley is lucky to be alive!!! Chandi is just broken but I think she recognizes it and it working towards being better.

Rockettes are ballet battements, do technically correct and safer for the body.

DCC kicks are not as tecnical as Rockets kicks, and much harder on their bodies. Flinging your leg up higher while bouncing in heeled boots is not good for their hips, knees, backs or ankles

I think she was advised not to try out again explicitly or more obliquely, and she quit and did not attend the last day or the banquet. Honestly, most of these cheerleaders seemed way happier before they made the team.
