I have friends who were professional NFL cheerleaders.

The main reason to do this is that they love to dance, want to dance professionally, and have so few opportunities to dance on a stage as large as an NFL stadium.

It is about having an amazing, once in a lifetime career opportunity, not trying to husband hunt. Geez, how little regard you have for women who are pretty. Do you realize how sexist your statement is? The statement is no different than the stereotypical 1960s boss who will only pick the dumb secretaries with big boobs.

The girls I knew who were NFL cheerleaders had normal husbands and boyfriends. One was married to her high school sweetheart, a fireman. Another a welder. The third was with a guy in a normal, boring office job.

You are demeaning women by denigrating them to the stereotypes of doing it as a husband hunt. They are doing it because they want to dance professionally.

I read (maybe on another board) that his family is quite wealthy and owns some kind of business chain.

If this is true, it is entirely possible that his family is of the mindset that the kids do their time in the business starting at the bottom up, to learn the business from the inside out, before being given real power and money.

Given their conservative evangelical Christian background, it is very likely that this is the case. A lot of Christian family budiness models do this.

Reece supporting Gaines aligns her with 80-90% of the country.

Plus she is from Texas, so she is aligned with close to 100% of her neighbors.

Most people in America and most people who watch DCC will see her support of Gaines as a neutral or a positive.

Yeah, maybe it's the editing, but Dayton's mom came off as a mean stage mom who is critical of her.

Even assuming there is high demand for power washing in Dallas, rich people pay contractors to power wash their houses, they don’t rent the equipment to diy. Further, power washing contractors are pretty cheap, no one is getting rich off the business. And if there is any doubt, her husband clearly isn’t rich.

You've seen his bank records? You'd be shocked at people who look incredibly average to poor but are millionaires. I know a few. They all wear beat up t-shirts and button down shirts that are ragged out. And they all have several million liquid in a bank account.

I recommend you read "The Millionsire Next Door" if you want to know about rich people that are rich because they don't flaunt stuff and don't spend money on garbage they don't need.
