The Rockettes kick differently from the DCC, this season of DCC explained how the kicks are different (controlled technical balletic battements of the Rockettes vs bouncy power kicks using your hips and quads to push the legs up for the DCC kicks) I am sure trained dancers can chime in, but the DCC kicks are much worse for the body and more injury inducing than the technical based Rockettes style kicking. I don't think she had the right build for the Rockettes either. They take lean, athletic, ballet builds, and are quite strict with size.[/quote]
