Vienna Housing Market

Couple bad things particular to that house. Regular refrigerator. I think for 2 m people expect a subzero. There isn’t one and it’s not really possible to add one with the kitchen configuration. And the island seating is on the side of the island where the person cooking would be working. Kitchen looks nice at first but it’s actually very bad.

And the oven placement is wacky.

I agree. The kitchen layout is terrible and not very big.

Yeah, that’s an amateur move; makes me question the agent’s competence.

That’s still a ridiculous price for a bird house. It’s a bit larger than the newer townhomes and there are some issues with the kitchen. Hard pass

Looks like the stove was an afterthought

It’s a boring house with a terrible kitchen, no
media room, no decent landscaping/hardscaping in back.

Paying 2m in Vienna this house I would not even bother to see in person.

This house has a bad floor plan.

Don't love the layout of the kitchen as others have mentioned, but this is exactly what a lot of people looking in the Vienna area seem to want. It's a very desirable location, and a large house. Not sure what the PP talking about it being "a bit larger than a townhome" is on about -- it's 5300 sq feet with 5 bedrooms. The lot isn't huge though, not for that size of a house, so I'm a bit confused by how the pics make the yard look relatively big.

Stuff that is over 2M takes longer to move. But I think it will sell at this lowered price. We'll see how long it takes.

That kitchen layout is just terrible. Whoever designed it doesn't cook.

Additionally, noticing similar drops in Oakton. I thought these were coveted areas?

Open house during the week. They are definitely desperate to sell

There was probably some weird reason for this.
