We don't. I like someone around my height, which is 5'4". I am not attracted to tall people.

Yet another troll post popping up on DCUM. |
Height issue preference is from hunter gatherer era. In today's world unless you want him for your basketball team or cleaning rain gutters, there is little value in height unless it comes with great strength and you live in a shady neighborhood warranting a need for protection walking around. |
Yep, keep future men short. |
Thankfully, on DCUM short mothers invariably have tall sons. |
I like the physicality of a tall, strong man but it doesn't tell you anything about who they are as a person. I like a man who is bigger than I am and who makes me feel small and who has power / strength - for example, can pin me down or up against a wall.
But I also dated men of a variety of sizes. I do only date men who are 3-4 inches or more taller than I am. |
Well, height is prized due to models being tall. It's an aesthetic. Tall people look better in certain clothes, they stand out in a crowd, etc. I think OP must be a short guy who's girlfriend dumped him for a tall guy? |
+8. This is it right here. For the most part everything is in proportion. |
I don't think that has been shown to be true, but everything else on DCUM is pure fantasy, so why not? |
I mean, it's not universal. DH's isn't long at all, and he's 6'2" and a bit. |
I know that's not the case universally, but it is the case for my kids. We thought our kids would be average sized, but I think because they were late bloomers, they grew taller than expected. |
I think OP has "tall men" confused with "Great Danes" and is doing the dog year conversion. |
So you’re a short guy OP? |
IRL, it's the opposite. This is why you see so many mixed race Asian WASP families with taller than average daughters, around 5'5 or 5'6, and shorter sons, around 5'9, 5'10. Also DC area has shorter people in general, here 5'11 is considered tall. In other parts of the country, that's on the short side. |
IRL is the opposite of DCUM in most ways. |
