OP here. We were in my bedroom with the door closed. My bed was making a lot of noise. My daughter thought it was construction noise haha

If you really feel you must talk about it with her, I'd say something like "even women my age still enjoy sex," and "I tried to avoid that issue during your high school years, but I'm not ashamed of my sex life and never wanted you to be either."

OP, I dated a woman who had a similar experience, except she was at my place. Basically, she answered a video call from her daughter by mistake. She thought it was an audio call. So her daughter saw her totally naked at my place. Her daughter screamed "Mommy what are you doing????"

A few minutes later the daughter called back and asked to speak with me. She told me she thought her mother was an adult and should feel free to do whatever she wants, but she expected me to treat her mother well and not to hurt her. I promised I wouldn't. It was a very casual relationship but it was always respectful.

The Mom was 50 and the daughter was around 25.

You misunderstood. I have no idea if your DD is having sex.

I’m saying in college you run into OTHER people having sex all the time. It’s part of down and roommate life.
