Yes. Is that you, Mommy? |
| No one has mentioned Okonomiyaki? Sad. |
| It's great sautéed with onions as a side with pierogis. Also delicious made in with mashed potatoes for colcannon. |
| Slice it into "cabbage planks" and roast the slices on an oiled sheet pan. |
Yes this poster is talking about stuffed cabbage. I don't know where they got "meatballs from". Alot of jews made this especially after and during the depression it carried into the 1970's or so. I personally love it as does my family. |

I like to mix chopped raw red cabbage with fresh corn, jalapeno or bell pepper, and a lime vinaigrette. Maybe some chipotle or tajin.
With the other half of that red cabbage, stir fry with snow peas and baby corn. Colorful side dish for whatever asian-flair main dish you like! Feels like we go through a cabbage a week and I'm blanking on what else we do with it! Yes, roasted. Yes, slaw. Lots of slaw-- on fish tacos, as a salad, on sausages... |

I like the El Salvadorean spicey coleslaw. I dont think it has any mayo.
Cabbage is better than lettuce for soft tacos - more crunchy. Cabbage rolls - thats too hard to make. |
This was a staple in my Polish family. We weren't Jewish, though. |

Cabbage ramen noodle salad. You toast the ramen noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds.

This is funny because I posted about the salad and I HATE Cole slaw with a passion. The creamy mayo based dressing grosses me out. lol |
| I take the cabbage and hurl it into the yard. By morning it’s gone. |
