Not one of you cared about PFAs before January 20th when you suddenly became experts. You talked about climate change all the time though. Show me the threads where you talked about it before the election. Show me the offices at EPA dedicated to the issue. How do they compare to climate change? Your precious fluoride and infinity vaxes are going away and you're just trying to latch on to anything to distract people. The second anyone starts to do something about plastics you'll just "what about" something else anyway. |
BS...there are offices at the federal and state level that are/were dealing with PFAs. Just because YOU hadn't heard of it doesn't mean it wasn't and isn't a concern. It is lie how Trump uses a new word and says "no one ever heard of it" - BS and stop with the gaslighting. |
You should buy a superfund site and build a castle there. I bet the owner would sell it to you for a $1 and you seem to think pollution is a joke. So win-win for you. |
DP. You're correct that PFAS are a recent concern, unlike climate change which has been a concern for many decades. They are both real concerns that our government should be investigating and regulating. |
Lots of words without links. Show me the threads, you must remember them if you participated in them. Tell me the EPA offices dedicated to it. Show your cred. |
https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/biden-harris-administration-finalizes-first-ever-national-drinking-water-standard Biden-Harris Administration Finalizes First-Ever National Drinking Water Standard to Protect 100M People from PFAS Pollution As part of the Administration’s commitment to combating PFAS pollution, EPA announces $1B investment through President Biden’s Investing in America agenda to address PFAS in drinking water Happy now? |
and Team Trump response:
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/epa-rolls-back-biden-era-rules-against-forever-chemicals-in-drinking-water The Environmental Protection Agency announced a rollback of Biden-era regulations on PFAS chemicals in drinking water systems. The EPA estimates more than 158 million Americans are exposed to these "forever chemicals" through water. John Yang discussed the move with Amudalat Ajasa of The Washington Post. So MAHA, HAHAHAHAHAHA, right? |
+1 Also "precious fluoride?" Do MAHAs ever mention the 700% increase in young children needing IV antibiotics for dental decay related infections in Calgary after they got rid of fluoride? No? Hm. |

As expected, the PP slinked off. what a TACO! |
Here is a search page of just this forum going back to 2019. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/jforum.page?module=search&action=search&search_keywords=PFAS&search_in=&search_forum=39&sort_by=time&groupByForum=false&start=175
Here is from the main forums, with results going back to 2015 https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/jforum.page?module=search&action=search&search_keywords=PFAS&match_type=all&search_forum=&sort_by=time&sort_dir=ASC |
8 pages of results with 185 citations since 2019, with the vast majority of those being from the 24 election cycle or later. Maybe a 2 pages could be said to pre-date that. The best pre-election thread being: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1166242.page#26144997 A thread in which a liberal bemoans the lack of concern over PFAs by other liberals. The consensus is "shut up and vote blue" from the people who probably are now posting in this thread. That's how much people here cared about PFAS. Climate Change returns 431 pages with 10,765 citations in comparison. That's not even trying to capture all the permutations of the term. So your concern seems rather shallow and opportunistic. Or maybe I'm being too harsh here, and maybe you genuinely care more now thanks to RFK bringing this and other issues to the forefront? If so, you should also get up to speed on fluoride and vaccines. |
Productive taxpayers who are fertile and healthy enough to produce more taxpayers. |
You need to drink fluoride to have healthy teeth? There is no other way you can get enough of it on your tooth enamel? Like mouthwash or a toothpaste? Fluoride in drinking water doesn’t give a choice to people who want to avoid it. removing it doesn’t take away the choice of others to have fluoride in their dental care. |
