It is also a great way to push women out of the workforce |
Yes, let's punish people for doing their work and caring about the work they do. |
And here we go… |
Shocking. Truly shocking. /s |
Commuting becomes a taxpayer problem when you have dedicated professionals who would work unpaid overtime at the end of the day to get everything finished...but now they are working their exact shift and not a minute more to avoid getting stuck in traffic. |
If you are teleworking for .gov , you need to be let go. Teleworking means your yob can be automated. |
I’ve seen this type of statement more and more lately. It’s confusing, because one cannot universally apply this logic to the myriad of jobs that can be done remotely. I’ve concluded it must be an uneducated person who cannot understand what automation, AI, or even telework means. |
This nonpartisan report proves exactly what I’ve been saying: -‘caregivers / moms with very young children at are disproportionately harmed by trump ending WFH. Giv e us back WFH NOW !! |
It make sense if from the perspective of people who don't use their brains, so can't perform a useful function remotely. |
How can you be so ignorant? |
It's silly to have this discussion and not acknowledge that plenty of people abuse WFH. RTO should be based on individual productivity and not a blanket rule. But as a society, there are benefits to being in the office, from the local economy to people interacting with each other in real life. I think hybrid schedules are the best balance. |
This is untrue. Are you a plumber? Stick to what you know. You know nothing about what people’s jobs require. |
I love RTO! Being at home all the time was isolating. I miss the social aspects of work. There is also a lot of institutional knowledge that doesn’t get shared in a WFH situation. |
That's what DOGE said at Social Security and now all the elderly retirees are flooding Congressional phones with complaints about all the screw ups at SSA, most especially the useless AI phone operator. |
lol is this why DOGE is trying to take over GAO now? |
