Maybe but in that case she would have gone through the approval process with the American people while campaigning all over the country during the fall of 2023 and spring of 2024. As a last minute replacement for a failed incumbent, she was never given a fair chance. That's not on her; that's on Biden. |

Y'all seem to be forgetting that the air traffic controller issues went to shit after DOGE showed up and started firing everyone they could.
That's just the most immediate place it's going to show. The IRS is starting to screw up big time to, if the refund check we just received from the Treasury indicates anything. Why? We haven't filed taxes yet, just the extension! We are smart enough to laugh and not cash the check, but lots of Americans aren't, apparently. Many federal agencies were running on fumes since the Great Recession and the first Trump term. Sh*t's going to be really f*cked in about a year or so. |

He wasn't a failed incumbent. He couldn't be a lame duck in 2023...that would not have worked with Congress or in international standing. It just isn't reality. He did what he did because the timing was important. |

When an incumbent POTUS and his 40% approval rating runs for a second term and then backs out of the race just 3 months prior to election day, that incumbent is a complete failure. A second grader could figure that out. |

except the same person also ran a completely clean administration, brought the country out of economic and healthcare abyss, passed meaningful legislation some of which in a bi-partisan manner and otherwise brought a little dignity back to the White House. | The EWR ATC moved to Philadelphia last summer to help retention- because ATC personnel couldn’t afford to live by Newark. This is an ongoing problem but it’s not all because of DOGE. Obviously it’s not being helped by the current state of the FAA. |
