| OP where do you live? If you want it free that’s the first step. If you don’t mind paying, any pharmacy should have it. |
+1 same. And we don’t carry it around “just in case.” Insane. |
+1. If this were a concern I wouldn’t send my kid away to school. |
+1. Not sure I would want my kid involved TBH |
| I have narcan that I got free a year or two ago - I tried to look up the link, but I deleted it from my email. I have it like I have an emergency radio, bottled water, and the rest of my go bag. Hope I never use it, but I have it in case. |
heaven forfend your child saves a life |
| Why are YOU packing, OP? Are you headed off to college in August? |
+1,000 my kid is not going to be responsible for using Narcan on some random drugged up person. |
That’s weird. You probably wouldn’t be able to use in time anyway. You’d have no idea why the person is passed out and then you’d swoop in with your Narcan?! So stupid. |
What about Good Samaritan Laws? How about if it’s your kids friend? Or your own kid? And be careful before you type “my kid would never…” |
This is my husband's position. I took the training offered by the county and got the Narcan. Our teen has heard both arguments and will have to decide for himself what he'll do if faced with the situation. |
It’s everyone’s problem..you must not have a teen. It’s a great way to have open communication. Too many opportunities for things to be spiked or laced and teens experiment. It may not be your kid but could be their friend or neighbor in the hall. Get out of your bubble and wake up. Not my kid. Sheesh. |

BS your kid absolutely is or is one who will be pregnant by 15 OP is a good parent you just are clueless |
Oh come on! You know none of these people are the type to help. Even if it's their kid's close friend. They will figure out some good reason after the fact. |
