Do you have any idea how GROSS this is? How awful and low can you go honestly?

Why are you exploiting murderes children for an unrelated person's political advantage? This isn't about gun control. This is about Hogg making himself king of the Democratic Party .

We know who is putting money into the pockets of anyone who says AOC is a "joke". Move along you two-bit intern hack.

DP. You are in a democratic echo chamber if you think AOC has a shot. Fair or not, she has gained Hilary's level of political hatred. She won't win nationwide.

Really?? What is it that earned AOC this level of hatred? Her calling out her Congressional colleagues for insider trading? Her calling out our political landscape for being an inauthentic culture of greed and money buying power? You can say she is unseasoned as a politician and too liberal in general for your liking but to say her beliefs are not populist beliefs that can't or don't resonate with mainstream America is utter nonsense.

If you are a wealthy and especially if you are part of the ultra wealthy class with political influence, your hate for AOC is warranted. If you are a normal person, you want to hear more of what she has to say just like many people wanted to hear more of what Bernie and Trump had to say in 2016. Facts!

David Hogg isn’t my favorite but I think this might be needed work. Some of these old establishment democrats are just coasting.

heard him speak 5 years ago and he was a very good speaker and very intelligent.

if he stops the overwhelming immigration and focuses on policies that US voters want he will do great.

Hogg is 25 and way over his head with whatever power to dictate policies you think he may have. Biden is gone and with him went this overwhelming immigration problem you keep harping on. Dems will turn to a legitimate leader to right the ship by 2028 and this kid will have no say in who that is.

Look the Dems controlled the senate when all the sh#t came out about the Thomas and SCOTUS. The democrats could get nothing out of committee to address the corruption of the Supreme Court. They had a majority on that committee. Now if these same moderates knew there was a “new” hunger pack of wolves out for blood these moderates would get off their collective a$$ and do something.

This is why the Republicans do things and the Dems do not.

Dems need new leadership. They need a leadership that see the Republicans for what they are and acts accordingly. Republicans want to arrest and kill Democrats. Schumer wants to be buddies. Time for a change.

Yes I agree and Dems don't have 20 years to wait for this Hogg kid to become a viable leader.

This Timothee Chalamet doppelganger weirdo isn’t going to be the savior of the democratic party, that’s for sure.

He could be by 2052.

Interesting. Remember how many Dems *hated* that Biden was *anointed* and then Harris was…

The Dems need to have a single day primary, with ranked choice voting to get candidates that the majority are happy about.

I’m pp, it’s ridiculous that Katie Porter said she’ll step down if Harris runs for governor. There can and should be a crowded field. None of these Dems are owed anything. Frankly, I think it’s time to skip the GenX candidates, which admittedly bums me out, but I can read the tea leaves.

Harris wasn't anointed. There was literally no other option considering the timing of Biden's departure from the 2024 race. She worked her butt of and made the end result a lot closer than it would have been otherwise. Any vitriol you have towards the players in the 2024 race should be directed towards Biden and of course Trump.

Anonymous wrote:Glad to see it. Anything that pushes the party farther towards progressivism is a good thing. The farther left one has to be in order to still be a “moderate” democrat, the better. It’s crucial for driving the party away from normal people. David Hogg is the best thing that possibly could’ve happened.

I don’t think that progressive means what you think.

Progressive means people who want to help us push forward info the future.

The future comes if we like it or not.

Looking forward is where we need to be.

We need apprehensive AND populist candidate.

Knowing how she performed in the 2020 primaries, Harris could have called for an open primary - but she didn't. She could have run a far better campaign by doing interviews - but she didn't. She thought she could buy voter support through paid appearances, instead of truly campaigning - but she didn't. She could have offered a compelling vision for the country and distanced herself from Biden - but she didn't.
