Interesting. Remember how many Dems *hated* that Biden was *anointed* and then Harris was…

The Dems need to have a single day primary, with ranked choice voting to get candidates that the majority are happy about.

Harris wasn't anointed. There was literally no other option considering the timing of Biden's departure from the 2024 race. She worked her butt of and made the end result a lot closer than it would have been otherwise. Any vitriol you have towards the players in the 2024 race should be directed towards Biden and of course Trump.

Knowing how she performed in the 2020 primaries, Harris could have called for an open primary - but she didn't. She could have run a far better campaign by doing interviews - but she didn't. She thought she could buy voter support through paid appearances, instead of truly campaigning - but she didn't. She could have offered a compelling vision for the country and distanced herself from Biden - but she didn't.

Harris was VP of that sitting POTUS you are claiming she should have distanced herself from at the time you are saying she needed to distance herself from him. Not possible. She wasn't a strong POTUS candidate to begin with but it wouldn't matter if she was. She had no chance. All this being said; go back and watch the Harris vs Trump debate from September 2024. She, like most people, appeared very presidential next to Trump. She just couldn't overcome the Biden fallout. No one could.
